Well done, old chap!

I have gone for one in that cracking bright red, with the full black momo leather, carbon fibre dash and high wing. How about you?

Hello,

I remember you from the TVR forum!!!!

It's a bit quiter in here but just as informative.

I hope you enjoy the car, certainly the nicest "Sensible" car around!

I have got bright red bodywork, grey momo leather, wood dash and wheel, and the high wing , only picked it up thursday done 400 miles already, the noise of that V6 is addictive.

Bit like the handle on a Tesco trolley?

Still can't believe Alfa offered that as an official part - what were they thinking!?!

Actually, on the right colour & spec car it can look quite good IMO.
I've seen it on a black 2.5V6 with the skirts etc and it suited the look very well.
There's also a poverty spec 1.6TS in sky blue 'round here with one and it looks laughable!

It is the closest I am prepared to get to a 'sensible' car... I had to sell my XKR to finance my daft purchase - a simply glorious Jaguar D type replica. I hadn't really contemplated an Alfa, and had accepted that I was going to get a Merc or Beemer 3 series. However, at a dealers I saw a late 02 156, and it looked ace, so a bit of research and scouring of the t'internet on Autotrader came up with a great car. (Did look at some real dogs, though, shabby looking and overpriced...) Picking it up on Saturday afternoon, can't wait!
