I see these around occaisionally, never really hear much about them, I think they look quite nice, if a little on the conservative side.

They seem fairly similar to the Alfa 75 in layout apart from looks obviously, are they a forgotten treasure or rightly discarded piece of crap?

It was the replacement for the ALfa 6 and in my opinion was a great car. Major difference from the 6 was the 90 has the transaxle like the 75 and so on. Gearchange can be a bit vague but with some carefull adjusting can be made to be reasonably precise, it works well on the SZ/RZ. I'd have another some day.

Mechanically they are the same as the 75 - 2.5 V6, transaxle, wishbone front/de Dion rear suspension. As such you can fit all the same upgrades to them as the 75. Drop in a 3-litre and you would a have great sleeper, imo.
