Joe's car has 90K miles on it so its done a bit. I realy dont know if this was the original belt or one of many.
I dont know when the belts changed but its possible to ease the plastic cover back enough to get a look at the pully. The one in my pictures is for the flat belts and the profile of the other type would look quite a bit different.
Certainly worth checking before you start. Final point you dont mention the tensioner but that needs to be replaced as well if you are changing the belt.Let us now how you get on.
Ken
the later one is a little bit trickier because of the engine mount in the way but still not hard and of course with the added benefit that if you do make a pigs ear of the timing (and I'm sure you wont) you wont damage anything
have fun with it
