GTV V6 sports exhaust

Hi all,
I'm looking to upgrade from standard exhaust system and wondering if anyone has any advice/feedback. I don't want a loud, boomy system, and want power gains if poss. Do you need to replace the whole system or just the back end to achieve this? Cheers, Jim

Replacing back end only won't help much, you need to increase the total airflow out. That means replacing the whole lot, ideally including the manifold.

The back boxes sold for the kiddies with shopping trolleys just make them sound louder.

Most folk doing this with GTVs aiming for minimum expense replace the centre section with a free-er flowing one.
