Anyone know what sort of bulbs I need? 2 of my knobs need new bulbs - I know it's a bollox of a job, console out,etc but when I get in there, I want the bulbs ready to put in.

Help!

I don't know the part numbers, but I have a similar problem. One of my heater knobs no longer illuminates, also the petrol gauge has the same problem. So two new bulbs there then.

Is it really a pain in the arse to replace them. Is there a guide to doing the work? What's involved, is it Dash out time

It's a definite console out time - about half an hour. Then 4 screws that hold the 3 heater knobs in place and much knuckle scratching. Remove the back of the heater knob box and hey presto!

As they say, replacement is the reverse of the above.

Fuel guage 'should' be easier, still a console out, but not the dash.

I remember I was amazed that a Fiat dealership only charged us about £12 to replace a faulty bulb behind the heater knobs in my wife's Punto.

Might be worth getting a quote from the dealer if you want to avoid damage to both your dash and your knuckles
