Fair bit of Aston Martin in there with maybe a hint of Z4 flame surface....

1st pic - it looks like an odd alpha.

2nd pic - looking along the shoulder make me think Aston.

3rd pic - Maybe a hint of elise and something else I cant quite put my finger on.

4th pic - TVR 350.

I think someone let their kid loose with a copy of autocar, a pair of scissors and some glue.

Picture 1 - car looks startled but then gets better in other pictures. 'Fraid I'm still with the Breara which Alfa have failed to make .... real pity!

Stunning, I want one. As long as it has a big engine in it

Nice looking car, but I fall in the camp of "T350 look-a-like" (see this from Valhala's profile)

Even if it does bear a resemblance to a T350c is that a bad thing?...

My inital thought at seeing some of the 8C pics was "350C", but bringing pics of both cars together only serves to highlight the many differences.

I can also imagine a lot of Aston in the shape, but again, this seems to go away once the pics are side-by-side.

All IMO, of course.

Since when, though, has Alfa done anything but its own unique thing? The link to the Canguro that was posted earlier shows the true roots of the shape...

Anyway, who cares? It looks gob-smackingly gorgeous, which is more than I can say for the half-baked facelift of the phase III 916 GTV...

I've got the TVR connection, but it's soooooooo much more attractive.

Anyone want to buy my Chim when (if) they put it into production??????

Comparing it to T350 is one thing but I can't help but think that since it's an Alfa it will be far cheaper to run/service and also perhaps a little more reliable!

I think it looks great, just as sexy as the T350.

Flippin' gorgeous.

Memo to Alfa HQ:
You denied us the Nuvola
You seem to be denying us the Brera (although there are reports that the new GTV/Spyder will be a looky-likey).
Deny us the 8C at your peril. Put it into production or I'll organise a few fellow PHer's to come and box your ears for you

The design cues from the face and tail come from a sixties Zagato-bodied Alfa, (TZ or SZ, I cannot remember which). The centre section is a little modern coupe derivative (I suspect it may be based on the Maserati 4200GT, so production may be possible!)

Having said that, the overall effect is very pretty, exactly as a sports Alfa should be. Yes Please!

PS There is NO TVR in there!

Got to say it. Shades of Tuscan/T350...but still a great looking car. Hope it goes to production

Err - neither do I.

For a start it has a boot lip, and has a very shallow sweeping rear!

I like it, although I doubt it will make it into production, it's far too nice looking to make it like that past the bean counters

DB7, Vanquish, DB9, 456GT, TVR tuscan, cerbera, xkr, jaguar r-coupe, cunningham c7, brera, and now alfa 8c. This is my shortlist of hottest coupes/coupe concepts. it is truly sad that the last 3 haven't been produced, and the 8c won't likely be either. I want one
