Those are the 17" Sport wheels, or more often called 17" Selespeeds (as opposed to the identical 16" Selespeed!). I had them on my 156 too and I think they suit the car really well. They were an option on the 147 and will bolt straight on to the 156. Tyres were 215/45/17.Edited by KANEIT on Tuesday 16th March 11:45

2.5 V6 (216 bhp) A brute!
The car is in great condition. The second owner kept it in a dehumidifed garage with a Ducatti 916! so it shows it pays to keep searching for th occasional diamond, lets hope it stays trouble free!
Very nice!!
Have you just bought it or just sold it as I have looked at that in teh classified just this morning and it has sold!!!??

HA, same exterior as mine barring the low rise wing.Disagree (politely) with the comments above regarding GTA wheels. I find a lot of wheel designs tend to get lost in the body (even 17" wheels) on the 156, and the GTA Teledials are the few charismatic enough (probably due to the satin finish, dark silver and the pronounced facing which takes them closer to 18") to cut through. They also protrude slightly for that 'arches full' look.
GTA wheels FTW
Gents just joined pistonheads forum. Been a lurker for many years but decided to bite the bullet and post up!
I drive a 156 Alfa this is it below... You either love or hate the colour Not seen too many like it as it also has tan leather... It looks very good in the flesh, so to speak!
Anyone going to the Auto Italia show in may, if so i'll sees you around hopefully!
