Thanks everyone for your nice comments - spent a long time looking for the right one i.e. where the sills, doors and floors are still comprised of steel!
There's some mechanical items being attended to by the Alfa Workshop and a very generous helping of Waxoyl will be applied to the underside/box sections at the same time. Beyond that I intend to maintain the car myself as far as possible.

Looking forward to bringing it to the first Sunday Service and the AROC Spring gathering at Duxford.

Cheers,
Andy

A big anniversary for me - I bought my Alfa Romeo RZ 20 years ago this weekend...

amongst friends at National Alfa Day, maybe 2000 or 2001:

...and a reminder of the car I traded in to buy the RZ:

Picked up this just before Xmas and only just got around to posting on here.
She's replacing my Citroen C6 which was written off by someone turning across me out a junction.

Jan 2007, 58,000 miles and one previous owner.
It's nice having a decent sized boot again!

About as close to my dream GTV as it gets, right year, right engine, right colour, right wheels cloud9 a proper "6C" despite being FWD

Makes me wonder how those cars would compare on track, the QV is quicker to 60, higher topspeed, has more horsepower and torque per ton, and probably more tech wizardry... But i'd expect the 4C to handle a lot better around corners.

The Giulia QF destroys the 4C in pretty much every way on track. The 4C can out-brake the Giulia, but that's about it in my experience.

It depends to such an extent on the ability of the driver, the tyre quality and the circuit type. My guess would be a very tight circuit might help the 4C, but most circuits in the UK I would bet on the QF.
