Alfaholics is just round the corner from my work, I see their cars occasionally (presumably on test drives) and they always look incredible, the white one above being no exception.
I went round castle combe in one of their "show cars" and I can honestly say they are the real deal. Don't think I've been round there any quicker than with Andrew at the wheel going full tilt. Stunning. blackmamba said:
Thanks for the positive comments.
The car was sourced by Richard Banks of Alfaholics in 2012 and then they stripped the shell, seam welded and painted it before it was built up with the following spec:
Alfaholics twin spark 200bhp engine with twin 45 webber carbs, all ancillaries, oil cooler, catch tank, electronic ignition etc.
Alfaholics lightweight radiator
Alfaholics GTAm cam cover in burgundy
Alfaholics C pack sports suspension
Alfaholics 6 pot brake kit inc. all lines and pedal box upgrade with adjustable bias
Alfaholics Limited Slip Diff (track spec LSD)
Alfaholics Lightweight flywheel
Alfaholics Stainless steel exhaust
Alfaholics uprated rear prop
Alfaholics 15” GTA wheels
Titanium bolts and wheel nuts etc
The interior is largely original and has great patina, the running gear is obviously not but a lot of fun.
Any Italian shows up coming with this beauty in attendance? Love to have a gander. The car was sourced by Richard Banks of Alfaholics in 2012 and then they stripped the shell, seam welded and painted it before it was built up with the following spec:

Nothing planned but I try to go out for an early morning drive most weekends. Might try and go to the Wilton House Wake Up on 18 Aug - you would be very welcome to have a look.
Ah I feel you are southern and I'm northern but maybe one day ! If mine is running well I might get to next year's Alfaholics weekend if they do one at castle combe etc but it's a fair old slog for us. Give us a shout if you venture midlands/northward! My 8v nord200Plus Club said:
Lovely interior. Alfa do some cracking seats.
If you are talking about the 916, they look nice indeed. I (1.82m) have to recline the seat to an absurd level to find a decent seating position and they arequite unsupportive too. I do own a 916 so not something unacceptable, but very much something to keep in mind when looking for one. This is my baby. I’ve just returned from a 1,760 mile round trip to the Scottish Highlands driving some of the NC500. The suspension took a real beasting on some of the roads, I’ll need to get it refreshed later on in the year. Found a good use for the rear spoiler!
