I hope they changed(checked) the air mixing stepper motors too.. they're the most common bit to fail in the AC/Heater (allegedly)

I have lovely chilly aircon on both sides of the cabin, but only heat on passenger side (won't mix)
- and its bloody freezing here (okay 13degC overnight, but tropics!)

They changed the blower motor and resistor pack. All seems to be working perfectly now. For a while, the blower hadn't been coming on full when the front screen clear button was pressed, it does now.

Yes mine has gone on the passenger side (thankfully). I think that one is a bit easier to get to. I’ll look into it one day!

Also have no a/c because of the classic outside air temp sensor thinking it’s in the middle of the arctic circle...got a new thermistor on the way to solder in its place.

Thought you lot might appreciate this:

Legendary Sam van Lingen workshop is a true timecapsule. Famous Nord magician brother Fred is still serving the Dutch Alfa Romeo community excellent tuned engines. Love to wander around here.

Hustling the new Kia ProCeed around (summer 2019) and dropping by at Alfa legend Rik Zuurbier's outfit.

You gotta love the period Alfa Rome wheels...

It's Etna black, lovely colour when the sun catches it.

Here's some pics of mine sent to me by the garage yesterday. The blower fan had failed, Alfa says you have to remove the dash to change it, which apparently also means removing the doors! eek Fortunately my garage managed to remove it by taking the housing apart in situ. Still £750 though. irked Hopefully it'll behave itself for a while now.

I managed to do it myself in a morning for the cost of the replacement motor. Very tight and hard to access job though which I never want to do again!

Looks very nice with the 17” jet fins and privacy glass, you’re a man of taste obviously (although my privacy glass was only done last week)

Ooh, swish!
Mine came with the tinted glass, direct from Japan. Also came with sunken rear springs but they were swapped out before delivery.
I have yet to clap yes on my pride and joy as I am elsewhere. Five weeks to go...
Springs are ok, it has nivomat self levelling & the dampers have started to go, Koni Sport Performance kit being fitted all round next week to rectify

Wowee! Is that one of them there GTAs?
Its a F1 racing edition, only 11 in the UK and 35 in the world. Collaboration with Sauber, extra horse power, titanium exhaust are package etc. Have to say, mighty impressive car, can see why they get such good reviews.

Didn't realise they were extra power too. How much?

I did watch that, it's how I found out it could be done without removing the dash - I even forwarded the video to my garage! I had absolutely no intention of doing it myself. biggrin
