Alfa 145 L 1.6 8v Boxer for sale

After a year of ownership i am considering upgrading to either a 1.6 T.spark or a 1.7 16V, therefore my beloved bella might have to go
I bought it in april last year from a surveyor in Edinburgh with 40,500 on the clock, he was an Alfa fan and had put the stickers on the side, put the colour coded front and rear spoilers on, and the wheels.
He bought it from a woman in edinburgh, who previoulsy bought it off the original owner after about 10,000 miles.
It has a FULL service history, mainly specialists, with the original leather logbook, i personally have many reciepts for work that has been carried out. Work that has been carried out includes:
New Exhaust
New Front Brakes (discs and pads)
New Radiator
New clutch two weeks ago
New Bosch Platinum Battery the other day
Service @ 44k
various other bits which i can go into detail with also...
The car specification is as follows:
1996 145 1.6 L
54K currently
17" MOMO twin alloys with new Toyo Proxes on the front
Front and rear spoiler
MOMO shiny silver ball type gearknob
Taxed till end of march
MOT feb 05
The car is in fantastic condition inside and out, a few minor blemishes and stone chips but nothing unusual for age. It has electric windows, electric sunroof and remote central locking with anti-theft system, ABS, disc brakes all round, driver airbag and an expensive Alpine head unit.
Last week i heard a nasty rattling sound from the engine bay and learned that the end bearings had gone. So off it went to my specialist in Sandbach nr. Warrington to be fixed, he is replacing the head gasket and timing belts aswell whilst the engine is out. This will cost me near enough £1300 :rolleyes
As you can tell you will be getting a virtually new car, all the major things that can go wrong have now been replaced at great cost to me. She drives like a dream and that sonorous flat four throb never fails to put a huge grin on my face
im looking for offers around £3000, i know in glasses guide its alot less, but im willing to bet there isnt another 1.6 like this in the country....
