Yes. I think that the chap selling it (I don't know him) is maybe a tad optimistic on price. The description is, I think, a little, er, over enthusiastic. It's a good car, but not faultless. There was some minor rust on the car, and there were a few minor things wrong with it when I last saw it.
Loving the 1300. Revvy little zoomwagon. Snappy gear change, with lower ratios in the box than on other Betas.

This Lancia linked to below is not mine but I parked my knackered 1300 Coupe next to it at the weekend. It is one of the last two remaining Beta Belina 1300s. It is super mintola, in a red brown with exquisite tan cloth interior and the lovely grey and silver dials and curved dash panels. One family ownership from new and utterly cherished. No welding, no painting Correct in every detail except for later model hubcaps (the originals are in the owner's garage).

In the photo below my ratty heap is blocking the view of the Berlina while I discuss with its owner the merits of small displacement Lampredis. I'm the fat bloke, obviously.

Nope, that one in the for sale ad is a 1600 with vinyl seats. There are at least two 1300 Berlinas left, and also that 1600 one you linked to. No doubt some others too.
The 2000 Coupes are the most popular and maybe the most numerous remaining Betas, but there are a scattering of Spyders around in 1600 and 2000 form. Volumexes are the ne plus ultra of Beta World, but are very rare. Many of them were looted for their Roots blowers by pre War MG fans and kit car builders. The blowers alone change hands for 1500 online these days. HPEs were once quite numerous but have mostly died, it seems. Given that 70s to 80s Alfas and Fiats are now expensive, and Betas are (a) rareish, and (b) suddenly being remembered as the fine cars that they always were, I reckon wait two or three years and we may be seeing the first £10,000 Beta on the sale websites. It won't be my stbox 1300 Coupe, though!
The car meet was a "generic rubbish vehicle" event for my fellownutcases on the Autoste forum. I got to drive a Triumph Acclaim 1.2 HLS (fabby!), a Lada Samara 1500 (amazing!), a Citroen 2Cv Dolly with push-pull column shift, a Peugeot 504 Estate (luvverley!), a Rover P6 2000 TC (slow but fine), and a Rover SD1 3500 V8 manual (simply glorious in every way). My 1300 was greatly enjoyed by all who tried it despite the knackered steering, oil leaks, porno seats and general crusty terribleness of the thing.

Ah, seen. I may need to retract my "there can't be two like that" comment. Ahem...
That car meet is such an antidote to the norm. A mate of mine had a brilliantly ragged manual 3500 SD1 back in the late 80s. Many hoons were had, I even used to race him in my Gordini, young and foolish as we were.

Later that weekend I went to a big and more conventional classic car show (Weedon Park - Chiltern Rally), where most of the cars looked loke they must have arrived in carcoons, so pristine were they inside and out. I hoped to find some mega shiny Lancias to park next to in order to piss them right off, but apart from a couple of Alfa Bertone Coupes there was nary an Italian car to be seen. Faaaaaahsands of British yarmouths and a few German and French contraptions. Anywany, I lobbed the heap in next to a racey stanced old Ford and a shiny Spitfire driven by an amiable pair of giffers. The Lancia turned out to be very popular with the passers by!
The funny thing is that people always say "those rusted on the forecourt mate", but this one, scabby as it is, has lived mostly outdoors for much of its 36 years and is ratty but still alive and MoT passable. Myths die hard!
PS: abit of rattlecan action today, new Pirellis, and even a polish. ZOMG detailin' YO
