Love the red and gold, looks fab!
Finally achieved my boyhood dream the other day and bought a Group A Lancia. He's a bit of a fixer-uppa as they say, but I'm in love.. Massive rally history from 1990-2005. Cloud 9.
Red and gold is awsome. Also red and white which the combination I very nearly went for. Finally achieved my boyhood dream the other day and bought a Group A Lancia. He's a bit of a fixer-uppa as they say, but I'm in love.. Massive rally history from 1990-2005. Cloud 9.
Love the group A car. Is that the one sold at Silverstone Auctions recently? Would be great to see it in the flesh, where abouts are you based?
The delta was also a boyhood dream of mine. I have gone down the circuit route with my build, no history to it but I am working on that! Any plans to do some hill climbs or anything in yours?

Racing this weekend at Donington if anyone wants to come along...
Cool car, been following you on Facebook looks like you're having a lot of fun! I live down near Goodwood.
Car is having some work done, it will be a few months before it's ready to come out and play again. She has competed in over 60 rallies from WRC to British rally championship from 1990 to 2005, won at least six that I'm aware of including the 90 Valeo, 91 El Corte Ingles, in 92 the Messina, Bassano & Lanterna rallies. She raced three times in the WRC in 90 at the 1000 Lakes (Kankkunen, 5th), San Remo (Cerrato, 4th) & the RAC (Droogmans, 10th).
The car is in technically the wrong livery at the moment, she was Martini from new with Kankkunen, but as with most Grp A 16v was converted to Deltona late 91 for HF Grifone. The car won three rallies in HF Grifone black/gold Esso colours so eventually the car will go back to that livery when I can get around to getting her painted again.
For the interim, it's likely that I'll put the car into Marlboro colours as raced by Luis Monzon at the 92 El Corte Ingles. It's a cool livery in it's own right and was the first livery on the car post conversion to Deltona. This is the very first car converted from 16v by CECOMP chassis 1.
