As a GT owner i usually just give the old flash/wave number to other GTs. Usually always get a response, even got a thumb out the window laugh Us Scots are cheery folk thoughangel

I'm a 159 driver and always try and wave at other alfas (not 147s though because they don't get it). Out of the newer models GT, Brera and Spider seem to give the most waves back. Get the most back from the older models. Most people just look bewildered because they don't expect a 22 year old to be driving a 159 and know the tradition.

Do any Alfa drivers on here still bother with this
I've never bothered - I just don't get the idea of it, regardless of which car I'm in.

I've only ever had one Alfa wave and it was off a 147 driver.

Killer, were you at Malton on Sunday? I noticed your name on the list but didn't see your car around. I was hoping to have a look at it!

Proper thread ressurection!

I had my first wave this morning, from a guy in a Giulia. I didn't wave back, I didn't know until I googled 'alfa wave' and now I feel guilty.

It's almost a dying tradition so I'm glad to hear a Giulia driver waved - must be an AROC member wink

I still wave at any Alfa I see but am usually ignored. But, a couple of weeks ago a GT driver waved at me first...made my day!
