Ok, so how is it cambelts break and still look like new? I don't see how a visual inspection can tell anyone the condition of a belt...unless its obviously wearing....without taking it off. Then you'd have to replace it anyway.

Some dealers were sending letters out advising changing the belt at 36k. Far too many failures below 72k to risk a "visual check".
