I need some advice in what to look for, any tell tale evidence of what could be a bad buy

Structural rust, particularly inner wheel arches, front bulkhead, sills and floor. Look carefully around the engine mounts. Mechanically these things are pretty bullet-proof with half decent maintenance.

I found the following sites helpful whilst looking around for an S4 (90/91)
www.veloce-se
www.AROC-UK.com
These sites generally cover all models but give links to others.

Hi Mike,
No wouldn't do that, just fancied an addition to the stable!
Trust you are well and enjoying your current Alfa experience.

Absolutely love the alfa John, Sonia can't "drive it in heels though"
It has just about everything I am after really. (Apart from a griff) - I am still chipping away at Sonia, It will eventually pay off!

Don't think an alfa spider would stay long in your garage, Jane would whip that straight off you.
