They didn't paint round it, they skipped over it. If they'd split the white lines in an amusing flat badger shape, that would have been a better news story.

I was kinda hoping some feckless employee had in fact split the lines around the corpse.

Agreed, would have been much funnier if they had painted AROUND it, rather than just stopped the line. (actually, council line painting lorry probably doesnt have the "paint around dead badger" button incorporated due to council budget cuts..........;-)
