Plenty of driving, not too many photographs...

Enjoy,

Thats my brother (on the left) and me walking away from the photographer in that photo. How strange smile My brother also went round in that T350 and really enjoyed it, so thanks to the owner.

The T350 is a bit special with that Nebular Blue paint - owned by a PHer in Mansfield who'd been at Silverstone earlier in the day.

Good news is that mine will be back on the road in the morning. It really could have been a lot worse for me and my wallet!

I was in the red and black MK Indy running out of garage 2 with the MK Sportscars guys. Didn't bring a camera - but then wouldn't have had time to take any piccies!

Anybody got any shots of the MK - greatly appreciated smile

Also - there were photographers dotted around the circuit and in the pits. Looked like some had some professional kit. Anybody know who these folks were - got a link or something. Would happily part with some cash as a charitable donation for some good shots.

Cheers

Shameless plug here -

All the drivers and their cars would be welcome at Sporting Bears Dream Rides - http://www.sportingbears.org.uk/DreamRides/sbmc_ev...

Colin I'm sure Adam would have told you about these, once it's fixed your car would find the SBDRs events on the roads less brutal but the drivers will be equally tired and satified as they were on Sunday

First off was a truly insane 19 year old Westfield with a 4.7 litre Rover V8. Not at all cosseted, lives outside and was a bit of a mess to look at. But by Christ, it fking went. The owner claims 2.6 to 60 - and even if he's being a little optimistic, it cannot have been too far off that, so ferocios was the acceleration. It cornered brilliantly and topped out at 120 on the straight, with some serious buffeting from the wind. No screen and your arse inches from the floor. It was raw and incredibly exciting (here passengered by someon else):

The above is from that article - thanks for the kind words!!
Bit of a mess - fair enough - but messy in a lovely fast way
For 4.7 v8 i said 4.3
For 2.6 to 60 it should be 2.8
Down the back straight i was hitting 135 flat out - confirmed by a scooby driver who was neck and neck with me on the straight.
Thanks again - i will be there next year giving ratty another good thrashing as well as being at the Sporting Bears Dream rides at the NEC classic care show.
Thanks again

Dave you would have went faster without the helmets - and lighter driver - and some lighter passengers smile
