Either the driver's seat has been swapped out for something from a higher miler, or someone has done a Ferris Bueller with the odometer.

I was going to say the exact same thing. Drivers seat tells a different story I think.

It'll sit there with the rest of his overpriced stock.

That's not genuine mileage.
The drivers seat looks a 50k mile example, the carpet is scuffed and dirty next to the clutch pedal and the paint is scratched all around the ignition barrell.
Ignore what's on the Capri face ache page.
Far better to advertise it for what it is, a restored example rather than try to pass if off as unused. Serviced before sale and new mot but comes with dangerous 34 year old tyres.. yeah OK..

That'll sit there forever..

The pedals look worn and filthy and the seat bolster has cracking. Unless someone’s been sitting in that without starting the engine, pretending they’re in the Sweeney that’s not genuine mileage.

Anyway, for arguments sake let’s just imagine it is genuine. Why would anyone buy it at that price? Okay, we all thought they were vaguely cool back in the day but then we all realised better cars were built by Johnny Foreigner and started buying them instead. Again, why would anyone buy this at that price? Every mile covered would see your purchase price plummet like a stone. I just don’t get it.

I love Capris, but this or a year old GTR ? or buy a normal 2.8i and something else with the other 55 grand, get it out of your system.

2nd time around maybe? Mileometer on Fords of this era only go to 99,999.

It looks good, but could easily be a restored car. A certain lack of photos of the engine bay, underneath etc.

Unsurprisingly, that's appeared on the seriously overpriced thread. I knew this Capri would feature too having saw it the other day.

Obligatory 'white background' dealer too, how predictable.

Dealer is trying to buy a second home.

Last MOT expired in 2017, I find it strange that after driving it for 30odd miles someone would reset the trip! scratchchin

I'd buy that. Not for that price mind, but if it was £29.5k I'd be in like a shot!
