Unsilenced exhaust

Talk to Mike Saunders (PH Name: itsallyellow). He's put straight through pipes on his road car and it's feckin' loud. Personally I went from the sports tails that came with the car and took it back to the original back box for 2 reasons.
1) To get under 105dB for a trackday at Spa.
2) It's all good fun for a 30 minute rip around the country lanes, or a morning buzzing the limiter on a tunnel run, but when cruising at 3500 - 4000 rpm on a motorway for an hour or so it's just unpleasant.

I had them fitted for a short while and it was a bit louder! but as I sold the car I've still got them cluttering up my garage, if anyone is interested?
Hi mate. Absolutely loving the car. It passed its MOT last week and has just been treated to a new set of tires and is booked for a 4wheel Geo this weekend so hopefully that will make it slightly less terrifying to drive?!Hope your well and not missing it too much? Did you replace it with anything in the end or did you do your kitchen?

Glad you are liking it
I lasted a few months saying I wasn't getting a replacement but In the end I changed my mind and I am collecting a Caterham 7 on the 1st
If you fancy those pipes I'll do you a deal?
Ha! Much more fun than a kitchen!
No thanks, its noisy enough as it is....

I've been on the same journey as you Olly, and I couldn't agree more.1) To get under 105dB for a trackday at Spa.

Anyone want some well used Sports Tails?
