Does anyone (in the UK) have one? Are they still available in the UK? a bit of a giggle? How far can you go on a charge?

Can't use them on the pavement and can't use them on the road, a bit pointless in the uk unless you own a huge amount of land with paths all over it.

This. I'd have one in an instant, but I don't fancy getting my collar felt and my toys taken away by over keen plastic plods. Shame, as it'd make getting back from the pub hilarious. When I shift to the states there'll definitely be one of the off road ones bought biggrin

Plenty of parks and bridleways near me. Was thinking one would be a bit of a giggle.

You can't use it on them either hehe

I should clarify. You can only use them on private property in the uk.

Didn't the UK importer recently drive over a cliff on one and die?

The multi-millionaire owner of the company that makes Segway motorised scooters has died in a freak accident while riding one of his vehicles.

Jimi Heselden, 62, was found dead in a river after plunging 80 feet over a limestone cliff near his home.

He was riding a rugged country version of the two-wheeled Segway when tragedy struck.

It was the owner

Yes. Jim Heselden who started Hesco Bastion, which has saved thousands of soldiers lives. Made him very very rich and he was very very generous with it. A pity he'll be remembered for driving a segway into a river frown

Had a go on them at Thetford Forrest and they are great fun and very easy to ride. They do zip along quite nicely on the higher speed setting.
They were using there from 8am to 5pm for 30 min sessions every hour , so maybe 4 hours continuous use ? As said, there are 2 power setting and they limit them most of the time.
