I know it has probably been done before, but how about a new one. I know so many PHers gave had spectacular car histories, but how about a chance for the rest of us to see some photos of our past and current P&Js.
I'm currently car-less hence thinking about my old ones:

Corsa SXi by danny2107, on Flickr
Anyway after the Corsa I had around 5 months left on my insurance policy. This meant I could change the car to a 1.8 Astra for a mere £290! (seemed like a bargain at the time :rasp
So the Astra was bought in March 2010 and I owned the car for around 5 months. With this car I added Janspeed coilovers because as we know Vauxhalls can't handle for st. The coilover made things a lot better. I did a few aesthetic changes too like colour coding and debadging. Below are a few pics of the car before/after.

As well as the coilovers I had a Remus/Piper hybrid catback fitted:

The Astra unfortunately was a bit thirsty for me, since owning the Corsa and getting my apprenticeship I've been doing around 50 miles per day. I decided to sell the Astra and get a VAG TDi, but when I advertised it I was offered a Corsa SRi which needed a bit of work. I would have been lucky to get £1800 for my Astra, and I sold the Corsa for £2750, duh, winning
I went a bit mental with the Corsa though, and purchased some 17" OZ Ultraleggeras in Kawasaki Green.

There was something about the Corsa that really put me off Vauxhalls. I wanted change but couldn't really afford an expensive car to insure. I did find that, however, I could afford to insure a Saxo VTS. I bought a Ph1 in Silver which had been a project for someone, sold to someone else and I would be the third owner in it's modified state.
Unfortunately I didn't put that much research into Saxos. I had no idea about the weak driveshafts, dodgy torsion beam bearings etc. The car was riddled with faults, but still came with a lot of parts worth a few quid. I didn't lose any money on this car, and I think I actually made, but a month later it was replaced by a Ph2 VTS with 30,000 more miles but a st load of history. I only paid less than what I sold the Ph1 for too...but we'll get to the PH2 after some PH1 pic whorage.

It sounded pretty epic too! (Excuse the clothes, I was returning from the Gym )
Anyway, at one point I owned two EYCC silver Saxos. So I decided to take the best bits from both on to one, mainly the boot. The Ph1 had a smoothed despoilered boot which I prefered so the boots were swapped. I also took the Supersprint decat and backbox and the Gen2 K+N filter and put them on the Ph2. I have to say though, the Ph1 still looked very sexual when I got it ready for sale:

So I got the Ph2 in November 2010. I absolutely loved the car, it was fast, economical and reliable! (For a few months)
Between February and March 2011 the car ate 2 gearboxes. One of them was my fault, and the other was the differential bearing which had wanted doing for a while.
I needed a change, but I loved the car so took plenty of pics of it, here are the best.

As I said though, reliability was its weakspot, and I was offered a car that was pretty interesting and was definitly going to be reliable. I picked it up after selling my Saxo, I paid £580 and this is what I got:

The eagle eyed among you will spot an epic car, please don't look at the car as an old Nissan. I must admit I thought the same when buying it, it was only a stop gap car afte rall. But the car was f*cking epic. It handled like nothing I have ever driven before, it was unbelievably predictable and controllable. When I got it I serviced it straight away and did 2000 faultless miles in the beast. I sold it to my mate last week for what I paid, and then I bought the Clio, of which you can see HERE
Thanks for reading, and if you're interested, the Primera has been the best car up to present (I think the Clio takes that crown now though )

1996-1997: My first car I have no pics of, it was a Skoda Estelle 130LSE which I hated. My father bought it for me and it brilliantly caught fire when he borrowed it one day. Cut to...
1997-99: The first car I bought, a slightly leggy Peugeot GTi 1.9, lowered with a Magnex exhaust and a few other bits and bobs. Loved it when it went, but had plenty of niggling problems and turned out to be a reshell, which explained the small swimming pool in the passengers footwell.
99-04: This being the Max Power generation I was into the modding scene, so bought a fairly tidy Ford Escort 1.8 Si and turned it into a Cossie/WRC lookalike. Was still fairly slow, but it at least had a fairly beefy set of brakes.
04-06: Loved this car, was like driving a Formula One car compared to the Escort. Actually used it as a daily driver, though even then cost £60 a week in petrol - gord knows what it'd cost to run today.
04-06: Technically not mine, but I bought it for the missus as a Christmas present as a sort of 'his 'n hers' Mazda sportscar pairing. Absolutely blew my socks off - I'd never really given them the time of day but driving it was a revelation - it was hugely chuckable, massive fun and definitely the best car I've had access to. Was borrowing it all the time.
06-09: The MX-5 bug well and truly bitten, I sold the RX-7 and got myself an MX-5, I went for the later facelifted MK2.5 and though it was a more resolved and better built car it didn't excite quite as much as the Mk1 did. Looked nice in red though and I'd love another crack at the whip.
09-present: A house purchase and imminent fatherhood meant the two seater had to go so went for an ST170. Now I know the Civic and Clio are better but they were also out of my price range, and as I needed to lug hardware around the extra space swung it for me. Had been a pretty good car but petrol and insurance costs are getting to be absolutely crippling - the wife is currently in Uni now too so I'm shortly going to have to downsize to something really basic and non-PH for a few years (1.4 Fiesta for example). After the wife graduates, however, we should be on the market for something much nicer - thinking Scirocco, Megane, Astra sport, Clio sport etc.

My first car at 17 was this 1.2 SXi Corsa...many good memories of this car
At the same time we were also running this Audi 80. Absolutely fantastic car probably the best we've owned. Had this for 14yrs by us and never ever skipped a beat! Solid as rock.
Then ended up selling the Audi 80 for this Audi A6
Finally selling my corsa after 5 yrs ownership & this year getting an Audi A3 Sport

First car: 206 1.1 'look', got it off my mum. Did some mods, sound system, headlights, gti alloys etc. Loved it! Much better than the heap of st my dad had at the time (H reg Ford Escort 1.3)
Second car: Stuck with a 206 but went for a GTi in black, had the SP pack so had spoiler, arch extensions, grilles, bought an exhaust, tints, rear lights, sound system, induction, remap, interior from a newer GTi 180(vast improvement on the original GTi seats)
Loved the car, it got taken on a lot of random drives.
Third car: Wanted something different, faster and rwd. So bought myself a lovely BMW 330i sport.
Completely different car from the 206 and a bit more grown up. It certainly shifted and sounded nice with it, only modification was a new headunit and a bmw clubsport gearknob. Kinda miss it really, if I could afford to I'd keep it as a daily driver and use the S at weekends.
Current car: Always wanted an S2000 ever since Gran Turismo 2, had a tuned one that was awesome and made mincemeat of much more powerful cars. Basically realised I might be able to afford one, went for a test drive, then bought it 2 days later. First convertible and I'm loving it! Done a few mods again, which the insurance company love! Headunit, headrest speakers, carbon bonnet, splitter, big brake kit, induction and exhaust, gearknob.
Its also practicle...
