I started this topic in the lounge but it dissapears in the number of topics there so I thought I would try here.
I am currently living and working in Poland and have decided to enroll onto a executive MBA course. I have an option of doing one here in Poland but there is only one course ranked in the top 100 by the FT. This would be a weekend, every two weeks over 18 months. The other option I have found is the distance learning course at Imperial College http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/business-school/program... This from what I have read will take a minumum of two years and is mostly based on working at home. What do you think is the better option? Is the reputation of Imperial worth the extra time and effort it will require? Are distance learning MBA's regarded as inferior to full time courses?

Just like degrees, not all MBAs are the same. However, an MBA is better than no MBA. The choice tends to be around affordability and full/part-time. If money and time are no object then choose the best there is as this will count if you're competing at the highest levels. If you're not aspiring to be the next CE of a FTSE 250 then a compromise to suit your circumstances is normal. Do spend some time researching your options, but the trick is to actually get started. Good luck!
