Me too!

Billybig and I are going for a drive up to the TVR Centre in Barnet tomorrow, and then for a blast around the country side - so maybe we'll get one then?!

I'll be sure to to anyone I see.

I've had my TVR for almost 3 years now and I've never been "spotted" either, do I wouldn't worry about it.

And I don't know what you're complaining about, Ropey - I spotted you at Dave Batty's yesterday. What more do you want?

You probably need to drive a few more miles. The problem with the south east is that there are more of them on the roads therefore not as rare as the west and north where you do not see one every day.

PS Took me 3 years to get my first spotted (About 24k miles)

Nobody ever spots us either. Or if they do, they don't post it on here!!

Never mind, we'll still wave at other Tivs. Except the dark blue Chimaera we see around Chalfont St Peter on Saturdays, who invariably blanks us every time.

Ah, that's very true - but you didn't post up a thread saying that you spotted me!

Nice to meet you briefly - hope both your cars are all OK, has David weaved his magic?

I've done 50,000 miles in a TVR.

The only person that ever spotted me was the dealer that sold it too me when they were sitting in a pub last summer

Not strictly true, Ron. I've told the anecdote about how we bumped into each other at Blackwater Railway Station on PH before now. Ok, I didn't start a new thread with "spotted" in the title, but it's close.

You too. Partial margic weaved - the Corrado is serviced but needs to go back to have a new water pump fitted, and the Chimaera is still with him having it's rad overhauled. I must give him a bell to see how he's doing.

Too true - but we don't want to start the Train Spotters Rumours again now do we!!!

You got a free trip to Reading that day too! I only went out for a pint of milk, IIRC

I did - thank you. Blackwater to Reading via Bracknell, as I recall.
Not the most conventional of routes, but you're not the most conventional of people.

Edit: I've finally found the link to the thread in question. It's here

Yes, I have been spotted, your eyesight must be very good seeing me from Belfast...you would have no problems hearing me though
