Has anyone tried one of these?

I am thinking of getting one, not for the eco credentials, but because it looks quite cool and it is reasonably priced.

It has quite a few good reviews on the website by satisfied poopers.

The reviews sound good as does the spec. And you just fit it to bog standard plumbing. Good price, too, so you don't have to be flushed. I do wonder about the U bend, though - I just can't get my head round it. biggrin

"over the moon with this toilet...." writes one reviewer.

You'd think that if he was going that far he'd have taken a lighter one.

You guys.....

I'll have a look at it on the weekend. Might actually try to install it myself! Some of the reviewers seem to think it's not hard.

Yeah we bought on for the en suite but not fitted it yet! Looks pretty decent quality, love the fact that it's one piece. Like also that it can effectively be free standing and doesn't have to sit against the wall if the stack doesn't quite line up. Slightly concerned that the diddly little flush may not cope with a 'full load' but an always make use of another small room if needs must!

Don't be disappointed when the pitiful amount of water in the cistern means that your wife can't flush her floaters.

This is my greatest fear.

I had hoped someone would be able to share their experiences of this particular toilet.

Not one piece but virtually identical in design two piece toilet - anything more than a wee is *ahem* a problem. You have to hold the button down to keep the water flowing in then straight out of the cistern into the bowl once the cistern is empty as there simply isn't enough water in it for a flush.

The lack of a full flush will mean you will have some mud-skippers gawping back at you.

Yep, but remember, if you get it wrong, you can't polish a turd.
