I bought some expensive paint almost exactly 2 years ago for a job outside. It seems i can put the job off no longer (says the wife).

Does anyone know if the paint will have survived ok? It is a 5l can, unopened, Farrow & Ball exterior masonry paint if it makes any difference...

Cheers,

Ben

4 days in the fridge....

It'll be fine, I have a collection of paint in my shed that is up to 5 years old and it gets trotted out every year.

Be aware if it's too cold when applying

you may have to put 2 coats on.

It should be fine.

The paint inside may have separated so the tin may need a really good shake.

But - first open it, and if there is a "skin" of dried paint on top, remove it with a sharp knife. Then close firmly (!) and shake.
