A few mates and I are travelling to the south of France for the Monaco Grand Prix. We are staying in Frejus whilst we are there.

Anyone got recommendations for where to go for some decent food and a few jars in Frejus?

We are planning on spending the Friday before and the evening of the grand prix in Monaco. Again looking for ideas for food and drink here. Was thinking stars n bars or something similar. Any ideas?

Take plenty of cash - I spent 11 quid on a glass of lemonade at the cafe du paris in monaco a few years ago. I shudder to think what a real drink would have cost

IIRC I paid about 27 Euros for a cocktail called a Grand Prix.

For good food you really can't go wrong at Louis XV-Alain Ducasse

The pea soup at €72 looks like a bargain!

There is a great Pizza place at Ste Devote, just on the outside of the entry to the corner....

Also the restaurant at the top of the Port Palace (1 Mich star) has great food and views and isn't as extravangtly priced as Louis XV.

Grand Prix weekend will be a nightmare to get access to any of the above though!

Why not stop off in Nice on the way, Boulevarde Mayerbeer just off the Promenade des Anglais the restaurant Barracuda, fab steak reasonable bottled beer or wine in carafes, sit under the canopy in the street with slightly obscured view of the sea, really friendly waiters who speak excellent english, should you need help. I have been there at least 5 times, great meal every time and half the price of restaurants along the promenade.
If you wanna have a look, its visible on google street maps.

Theres a couple of good places down at the tip-top (the tip-top being one of them!) Hotel Miramar is good just up from saint devote and just up from casino square on the french side, theres a cracking italian, unfortunately i've forgotten the name. Stars n Bars can be a bit hit or miss I find. If you're not fussed, get a couple of slices from pizza systeme and sit and watch the yachts, then wash it down with a couple of beers from round by the swimming pool.
Hope that helps
