What's the longest range you have driven on a tankful?
Discussion
I finally got my 4.3 V8V's cruise control enabled at the dealer this weekend. I filled up the tank on my way there and continued driving throughout the weekend until I depleted the tank, using my new cruise control frequently. What I noticed was that I was able to get a combined city/highway driving range of 285 miles which is the most I have ever gotten out of a tankful in this car. The trip computer reported I still had 35 miles to empty, but I didn't want to push my luck. Filling it up took about 16.5 gallons which yields a combined mileage of around 17mpg. Not bad. Had it been all highway miles, I suppose it would've been even higher.
So my question to you guys is: what's the longest range you have gotten from a tankful on your Aston? Make sure to indicate which model you have.

I'm SO glad that I have no idea or any reason to find out
What I do know is that my DB9V is more economical than a Maserati GranSport BUT the smaller tank of the Volante meant I needed to stop more often, usually about half an hour. I think of it like a plane, it has a 3 1/2hr endurance usually...
And to be honest I'll need to stop by then anyway for food!!

Wow. So so far, Shmee is the only one who knows how to follow instructions.
Again, the question is how many miles were you able to drive on a single tankful, not what your average fuel economy was.
And Yeti, the way I find out is that I always reset my trip odometer T1 every time I fill up.

I know. I just don't care about economy or range. It goes until I need coffee/food/the toilet which is always far enough Must admit, when in convoy and you need to stop first, it's annoying!

Worst in my DB7VV was at the Lotus Test track and managing to keep up with some Exiges for a few laps... 2 x 7 lap sessions was 3/4 of a tank, starting getting fuel surge and cutting out the engine, and had to stop!
Think I worked it out to about 20 miles for 3/4 tank!!

When I cruised there and back at 70-75mph to the V12V Owners Day last year at NP, I managed 400 miles off a full tank, ie 80 litres, which equates to just under 23mpg!!
Holy crap! That's impressive. And in a V12V no less. I wonder if you hold the record. I've managed about 450 on my Esprit S4s, but its estimated fuel consumption is 17 city and 27 highway. One of the first things I noticed when I got the Vantage is that she is one thirsty beast. That hasn't stopped me from driving though, as evidenced by 300 miles this weekend without really going anywhere.

Not so KF as he didn't name his vehicle and thus technically took the thread off topic straight away I am well documented as getting 19 mgg in my DB9 and I rarely get less than 300 miles to a tank.
This does not bode well for the upcoming Welsh Borders jaunt and I would highly recommend putting me at the rear
