Don't ask what I was doing in the kitcar forum, but I came accross this.

I'm not a lover of replica cars, but this looks cool.

Same here. Don't like replicas, but this looks great. I wonder how much it costs.

I'm sorry, but that thing's is a joke. Its proportions are totally wrong compared to the original, and then there's the interior.
All you're left with is a hole in your pocket, something that's clearly NOT a DB4 GT Z and a ruined DB7.

Had a couple of threads on this car already - most think it's a thing of beauty, I certainly do and it's an Aston chassis and engine so feels better than an MR2 being turned into a fake F355.

Considering its a V12 under the bonnet, I think the proportions have been done well.

It was up for sale in Monaco recently, possibly £400k tag on it if I remember right... That buys a lot of real DB4 of course...

Overall I like it, however if I was being picky, the rear arches behind the door line look a little odd, how they come out from the body and the side view of the nose seems to be too sharp.

But that's just my own preferences.

I don't think it's a waste of a DB7 at all, plenty more around for starters and as Yeti has stated it's not your average toy box kitcar turning a normal car into a Ferrari, this is turning an Aston into a somewhat different Aston.

All the main parts are there, engine, running gear etc.. just the body, wheels and some trim has been changed. To me it's the ultimate customised DB7.

The only thing I would avoid had it been my own car, would be to not have the "Z" on there, a Zagato it is not.

It'd be interesting to see exactly how much of the original DB7 was re-used.
