Hi! Long time since I've been on the forum, haven't own a TVR for quite a while now but miss it and want to get back into the TVR ownership group. I saw this TVR T350 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3864382.htm and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. I don't know the reg at the current time unfortunately.

The completely redone full leather interior sounds great but I'm not sure why this has been done (I have asked but not heard back yet) and the miles are quite high, but is that such a problem? I used to do about 12k a year in my Chimera 450 and it was all the better for it. AT least it's been used. Seems to be a nice car but not sold yet. I personally thing the price is a touch high for such an early car even if they've spend money redoing the interior... Were the early cars full of niggles that were ironed out later in the model lifespan?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Otherwise I'd love to find a Laser Blue T350C with < 30,000 miles with aircon and probably a 2005 or newer, possibly 2004 if anyone happens to be thinking of selling. smile

'Egood' or similar on here?? - edit, this chap; http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/profile.asp?h=0...

Interior was less than great condition when he bought it (IME a few T350's suffer from excessive wear on the vinyl side bolsters, even when specced with full leather?!)

The interior was re-done as he wanted it looking great, and steering wheel aside, I think he succeeded.

No idea what the earlier cars are like, but I can tell you that the car is really not photographed well, the light doesn't even begin to reveal the exterior colour. Worth a look. smile

Thanks for that, appreciate it. I've seen quite a few shabby looking interiors on T350s which is off putting. This one looks amazing and yes, you're right the photos don't do it justice as a car, I've asked them for better quality photos if possible. It's about 300 miles away from me which means I want to know as much as I can about it before going all that way for something that perhaps isn't worth it. If it's a pig underneath the lovely leather, it could be a disaster. I know TVR chassis can rust (especially outriggers) and that a badly maintained car is a disaster. Wish I was closer, would just pop over and have a look! smile

Thanks again BCA, appreciate it!

P.S. That thread was perfect, it does seem to be his car and the photos are a million times better than the TrackVRoad ones, looks stunning in my opinion! Even more keen to find out more about the car. Have dropped him a line about it so hopefully he'll reply, would love to know more about the history as feel like a kid on xmas eve having seen those pics!! smile

...remember thinking - I don't like that steering wheel - when I saw the original thread and just saw it again and remember why I thought that. Too fluffy for my taste.

Good luck with it. biggrin

Thanks! Am finding out quite a bit about it now, so it all seems good! Yeah, the steering wheel is probably the only thing I'd have to change before even driving it! smile

It was/is definitely egoold's car...
I think he bought it from TrackVRoad, and pretty sure he's not had it more than 6 months...
Craig at TrackVRoad will give you a complete and honest account of the car and why he's selling for sure..

Leave the steering wheel alone!!!! cool

Seriously does nobody apart from me liked the look of the steering wheel??? I still have the standard one and will quite happily take the Momo back.

ROFL! smile For track day I think it would be awesome, my wife's first comment was "that would get sweaty".... humm... well, what can I say! smile I love the wheel in this one... http://www.tvr-mads.co.uk/DSC00678l.jpg but not sure if Momo make that any more (if it was even them in the first place).

The car looks amazing though, no negative comments to be made on interior spec, just stunning!!! Seriously tempted... just wish it wasn't so far away! smile Will speak to the wife tomorrow! Cash sitting ready and waiting! smile

I genuinely can't think of anything needing done to the car and even if there were it would be done by track v road before sale. Richard and craig will hate me for saying this but I'm in no rush to sell, it has to be right for whoever buys it.

I know the evora isnt going to thrill me in the same way so have also got my boxster up for sale and planning to swap it for a Elise S1 to keep me from missing the t350 too much

I may, and I stress may, be putting mine up for sale soon. Brilliant silver with full leather interior, air con and targa on a 54 plate. R/Red shocks, gearbox rebuild last year, clutch a couple of years ago, full respray last week, wheels refurbed to shadow chrome, full carpet retrim to Wilton wool (not the usual TVR polyester), 27k on the clock and more importantly following a 1/2 time bearing failure last weekend I'm going to be having a full rebuild from Power with 3 year warranty.
This means it will not be the cheapest on the market BUT will be absolutely mint both cosmetically and mechanically.

Thanks, I believe yours is a Targa, whilst it looks great on your profile, I'm not too much of a fan of the look of the Targa roof in place. Sounds like it's going to be a great car though!

It sounds perfect, I will try and find the same colour of a local car to have a look at it. I'm normally a fan of dark blue or black for cars, but this colour looks insane! Cheers!
