we had a section of built in seating made from breeze blocks which we had rendered and painted grey, we had a section built up on one side and then bought a generic firepit, took it apart and used just the stainless steel centre section which we could load up with logs, charcoal etc, it looked bespoke but cost bgger all.

I built this a couple of years ago..................

Mini digger, breeze blocked and render, flagstone floor, stone edging, steps made from sleepers

The fire pit itself is 1.3 meter diameter and 1.0 meter deep again block and render. with three six inch drainage pipes going out radially at the bottom.

We still to find a suitable BBQ type dish (removable) to fit so use the Webber for now. Great even in windy winter weather with a big fire in it.
