Garden strimmer maintenance?

The gear head on our Ryobi strimmer has a removable bolt as if lubricant access to the gubbins. Can't find what, if any lubricant is supposed to be used. Advise appreciated.

It should tell you in the instruction manual. If not, or you don't have one type the name, model with instructions/maintainence into Google, that should do it.

standard lithium grease. you may need a grease gun/nipple depending on the fitting.

Thank you, grease it is then. Strangely, the maintenance manual didn't mention it.
