Loadsa 'Liz's!!

Been meaning to post this for a while in case anyone's lurking...

- Blue S1 near Camden Park
- Gunmetal S2 (111s?) near the Firestation
- Black S2 which comes into TW every morning as I walk to the station down Grove Hill Road.
- Silver S1 in the Farmcombe Road area

Anyone else about?

Anyone seen me about?? Tim

Don't think i'm one of the ones mentioned - but been in Tunny Wells quite a bit recently - Gun-Metal (or titanium - please correct me) S1 with clear indicators, headlight covers and single oval SS Janspeed.

What's with all you Tunny Wells owners - none of you ever seem to wave!!! (Not PH'ers I suspect)

Hey guys, guess who's back! I'll be back around TW as of next week. Pick up my azure S1 again after being out of the country for 4 months - keep your eyes peeled!

Jamie, do you ever make it to any of the SELOC meets at the Wheatsheaf in Marsh Green? I've only managed to get to one so far but everyone's really friendly and Lotus mad - some great cars there too!

If you're over in TW gimme a shout and I'll be sure to wave! Tim

Actually, why don't we meet up one evening for a cruise and a trip to a nice pub before the summer dies it's final death throws.

Obviously it would not be an "official" cruise or an "organised" run as I'm sure that would invalidate insurance or something, however if we all happened to end up in the same place by some strange chance...

If anyone's interested reply here and maybe we can find a nice pub somewhere one evening.

Hi Tom, best of luck with the search, there's plenty of deals to be had (lovely looking titanium S1 with a red hood in classifieds for 12.5k) so get one!

My thoughts EXACTLY (locations, not "go away")! Look forward to seeing more Lotus nuts in the area. Have you been for test drives etc. yet or has your mate brought you round to our way of thinking

Haven't got to one of the SELOC things yet, although I do remember you reccomending them when I first joined PH.

A meet for a quiet sounds like a plan as summer is so nearly behind us (no more roof down action )

Haven't got any suggestions for a venue but it needs to be easy to find as i'm only simple lad from the country with poor navigational skills!!!

Should Mrs Beaky be informed??? - I'm not sure if she would want to tag along anyway as she seems to find the whole Lotus owner-friendship thing sad/embarassing - she even cringes when I wave to other owners. Anyone else get that???

Did you drive past the Compasses in TW on Friday night trunkie? If not I spotted another Azure blue as I was having a quiet shandy with a loverly laydeee... el Beast was in the car park too being jealous!

Nope wasn't me mate. Didn't pick mine up until Sunday. Needed a new battery and the boot cable snapped but otherwise it's all good.
Several mates have told me they've seen an azure around while I was away, could be the same one...?

RE the meet - let me know what date is best for y'all and I'll see what I can do.

Fella's (and fella-ettes if there's any lurkers out there!),

There's a PH meet @ the Grasshopper on Saturday 9 October... www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?p=1&f=65&t=123190&h=0

Should be an interesting mix of cars about, I'm going to head down for an hour's car-nerding - would be good to see anyone from here there too.

Tim
