I don't know if thats a good thing or a bad thing as when it worked it sounded like a Noddy car! Is this common problem? Easy to fix? Or is it an electrical fault!?

- Check relay?
- Check fuse?
- Are either of the connectors off at the horn end?
- Has something got into the trumpet and blocked it?!

The wires seem to still be connected to the steering wheel. I had just had it serviced at NOBLE, and it was working before.

Everybody I have met with a Noble changes the 'noddy hooter' for a decent set of air horns.

Mine came with the horns so I seems you had the original hooter as Noble intended

Might be a good time to go to Halfords for a set of horns !

Can you put a voltage meter across the connectors at the horn end and whilst having someone press a horn button (make sure the IGN is on!) - should get a reading if not then back to the fuses/relays!

As mentioned, see here for the smallest, loudest and best value air-horn unit around - also comes in 3 colours - mine's red!

I still have the original 'noddy hooter'. It is no problem as I have never used it and don't intend to. There has never been the need.

There's a topic on this already if you have a search. I had a Nautilus fitted by MV having been recomended by a couple of people on this site.

I think Joust even posted the fitting instructions with photo's.

So much better than the original....I think someone described it is as being akin to the noise made by an Intercity 125 or Eurostar!!

From memory about £25-30 and worth every penny.
