Hi,

Since I've not used my V8V for about a month and I probably won't use till March, where's the charging point for a trickle charger?

TIA
G

There is one in the boot and one in the trinket box. I use the trinket box inside the car as I won't drive off with it still connected.

Have you got an owner's handbook ? It's on page 10.26.

Or you could get it out and use it once week ( your car that is ) because the last thing you want is it ceasing up !

Oh yeah, seizing.

Either way, you don't want it going stiff.

Apparently, they go flat after 21 days, so they need tickling up to guarantee prompt and efficient starting.

Depending on the age you may have a battery disconnect button
Hit that to shut most the electronics down and extend the battery life
I always used the boot socket as you can still lock the car and it is still live if you use the above button.
You can also do it from the jump points in the engine bay.
