If I could reply to the old one i would!

I've ensured my email address is up to date on pistonheads but I’m not been sent a message!

Would you care to elaborate?

Charity/sponsorship threads aren't allowed so are routinely deleted on sight. Just like adverts, post count, birthday threads etc.

You broke one of the rules by advertising. It doesn't matter what kind of advertising it is - unless Garlick gives you permission - the mods delete advertising threads. I'm just asuming that's what you did, as I didn't see the thread, nor am I a mod.

The sickies in the lounge suggest nothing to object. A little misleading TBH. I applreciate you may put this in the generic T&C's but you are fully aware no one read's them. Still a little diappointing you take such a subjective approch to it.

Garlick, may my appeal be allowed? please? x

Sorry for closing the original thread must have checked the box in error.

We don't need stickies in any forum it's clearly stated in the rules of posting, third link above your Reply to Topic text box and a a link at the bottom of every page

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/rules.htm

The relevant rule is number 16.

HTH.

You can't post on PH until you have agreed to them smile

And the rules to apply all; with only the very rare exception, which has full HayMarket Publishing support.

We'd all love to use PH to plug our various charities and fund raising exercises and events; but sadly we can't. Just not feasible or possible; no matter how passionate we are about the specific charity.

Exact same rule applies to advertising - none allowed on PH; other than the classifieds.

it's difficult to agree though.

Bear in mind mine was about being an alcho so you will have to take this with a pinch of salt.

Maytbe a specific category for charity would be in order? there certainly much be plenty to fill one?

maybe that doesnt make haymarket any moneies?....

There will not be a forum for charity threads.
