Hi guys. I was wondering how good is the battery in an Aston?
I keep my second car in garage for a month without any issues or charging battery. Can you do this with an Aston?
If not do all of you keep them plugged in over the winter months when not in use?
Does it depend which Aston you get?
Thanks
Neil

You will be lucky to get a month unless you isolate the electrical equipment and you don't have a tracker.. From memory i think 21 days is about the figure quoted if you have the tracker and don't isolate?
I would keep it on trickle if you have the charger.. If not, give it 15 min ticking over every now and again.
Strangely, i have mine on trickle every time I park it in the garage but the indicator never actually registers full. I often wonder if the trickle is putting in less than what the tracker, alarm, etc are taking out?
I have never used the isolating switch as I don't want to have to mess around resetting the radio etc when i come to use it.

i leave my car for weeks on end, longest being 4 weeks had no problems yet..I keep my second car in garage for a month without any issues or charging battery. Can you do this with an Aston?

the garage is heated i imagine that helps.
My battery is brand new, but 2 weeks sitting around would kill it stone dead
No option to trickle charge it, so at this time of year I use the isolator everytime I get out of the car. Kind of annoying, but that's the nature of the car!
I think 3 weeks max without isolating according to the manual and supposedly a whopping 90 days if you isolate it.

Mine happily sits 3 or 4 weeks on the drive without problems but I suppose it all depends on the condition of your battery
+1Though remember Steve that if your Tracker is active it will reduce the time you can leave it like that
The most I've ever left it sitting on the drive is 19 days IIRC. Full Tracker on. Fired up first time, and what a noise
Whether its of interest or not I've just ordered one of these:

Should keep the battery gremlins away... unless it snows.
