Just got a puncture :-(
Tyre sealant got my car back to my mates house.
But should I get a mobile fitter out to replace it?

I have TPMS too, would this need replacing as well?
And the warning light on the dash, does this need resetting at a dealer?

Feel like such a numpty asking these questions but I've never needed to replace my tyres on the Aston yet!

Michelin Pilot Super Sports get top marks from most (including me).

They have good grip, ride, longevity (relative) and a surprising reduction in road noise.

Not sure what TMPS you have though I won't think you need to change them senders in the wheels because of a puncture but they do have a battery which sometimes goes.

Ok so it's not linked to the actual valve of the tyre then?
So I can just get it changed as normal?

If you've used the tyre sealant, ensure tyre is to correct pressure, dashboard warning should then go out.
Check where the puncture is, how big is the hole, but generally good to still use tyre with sealant in. More than enough to get you to a decent tyre place, no need for the expense of a mobile fitter. Have used the sealant on the rear tyre of the motorbike whilst in France. More than safe enough to get me back to the UK.

Decent tyre places will know not to damage the sensors when replacing the tyre.

Hi, the valve is attached to the pressure sender.
I had a screw stuck in the side wall of a rear tyre. The guys that changed it did so without damaging the sender.
