It would be nice if my Yuasa YBX3069 fitted along the short edge...mine does not have the tags on, so I am chasing one that does OR another make ...mine is new and came with my recently purchased car, double check before you buy. A@

It's worth considering using a battery with the positive terminal away from the chassis rail. I believe this type was fitted by the factory to later cars.
I've just fitted a YUASA YBX3096 to my T350. Cables were just long enough without alteration. My clamp is on the short side.

Thanks, I don't have a problem with using either IF they have the B9/B5 (depending on who's bumf you read the data from) type fitting tags on each end (so the battery is fixed properly) I am speaking to people ATM. I am happy to put this new (old one) battery on to the 280DH, as it has a strap type fitting.

My bar on the chassis holding the battery is 29mm.

Tayna supplied this today (I messaged Chris via their messaging sysytem, he checked and confirmed the battery had the fitting tags and it fits perfectly) I need to latch it down, remove the red plugs, bring the two drains from the heater (they are hard, so I might replace them) correctly and there is a shroud adhered to the edge of the old battery that will be swapped .
