interior LED lighting - JCC
Discussion
HI,
anyone have any thoughts about or experiences with JCC lighting? My builder is speccing their fire rate led downlighters for our refurb and I've not heard of them.

I know the default PH response is e36guy and ecoled but the builder is very highly regarded so wanted to know if anyone knew anything about this firm. Besides, e36guy hasn't responded to a number of PMs anyway.

I've had mixed experiences of JCC kit. Their LED dowlights look like all they've done is stuff an integrated LED module into a regular fire rated downlight enclosure, a design that traps heat. Purpose made LED downlight fittings, where the whole case is a finned heatsink, and a seperate driver (so it won't run too hot) is a superior design IMO. I've fitted lots of LEDLITE brand fittings and think they're some of the best price/value out there at the mo- 600 lumens. I've noticed many outlets including screwfix/toolstation selling simular designs (although with slightly lesser lumen outputs) for around the £30 mark.
