White plaster?

Planning to have my ceilings skimmed later in the year and all quotees have said it will end up pink, ie normal plaster colour. Hence muggins will then have to give it 2-3 coats of white paint, a job I'm not looking forward to.

Is there really not some kind of white plaster so the ceiling can be left 'as is' and not need painting?

I remember Knauf plaster being white but it still had to be painted.Two coats of decent quality Matt emulsion will easily cover new plaster.

Can be either painted or left natural.
