What would you do?

So I bought a car three weeks ago (58 plate 159, with 40K on clock).. Since then it's been back at the dealers three times @ 60 miles away. Also been to an Alfa Romeo main dealers so that's the fourth occasion.. It's going on a month now and it's in a worse state then when I bought it.
It's had:
New EGR
New Glow Plug Relay
New Glow Plugs
New Injectors
New EGR
New Maf Sensor
New Multiplugs
And a thorough cleaning.
Warranty has covered most of it, but it still doesn't want to facking start whenever it feels like it?
I like the car, I'd like to keep it.. But it's a fking headache.
What would you do?

If it doesn't start it's not fit for purpose is it.
Explain to the dealer you are getting cheesed off having to come back and forward. Speak to them and try and find a solution.
Dealer too busy denying all accountability due to no fault codes, told them I'll send it back then it's just a slag match for a while until one of us get's bored.Explain to the dealer you are getting cheesed off having to come back and forward. Speak to them and try and find a solution.
Lodged a case with ombudsman, TS... But no gurantee's so far.
Could it be a car that may have suffered water:flood damage previously and not recorded?
That said if the Warranty comp are replacing all the parts you listed that has to be good however I'm guessing you do need a reliable car for work as calling in again car not working will not wash.

Get a meeting with the top exec in the garage. Tell him exactly how you feel.
Try not to get angry. Be nice. Get a courtesy car.
If they can't fix it though you (and they) have one option.

I'm not in the game to cause issues, neither am one just to give a car back but it's sucking up so much time now it's becoming a real problem.
How many times is enough?

Not sure to be honest, nothing recorded.. I'm not clueless with cars, but this one seem's to be a money pit. I could do with a reliable car for work as I drive up and down the country a fair amount of times. That said if the Warranty comp are replacing all the parts you listed that has to be good however I'm guessing you do need a reliable car for work as calling in again car not working will not wash.
I guess I'm wondering if it's reasonable to ramp up the pressure and try for a replacement / refund? But I love the car (When it works) and there's nothing else I really want so 50/50 on the subject.

Sorry if this is teaching you how to suck eggs - but a lot of bad advice is given on these forums, telling people to go into situations all guns blazing. Lodged a case with ombudsman, TS... But no gurantee's so far.
What you need to do is sit down with the dealer (in person if at all possible) and explain what your problems are. And then ask him how you can work together to resolve them. If he says that the fault codes are not showing, offer to go to the car and show him it's not starting properly.
Ultimately you want him to want to go out of his way to help you. I deal with both sides of sales, both as a buyer and as a seller. I've never been in a position myself where a reasonable compromise for everyone cannot be struck. I am sure the dealer will want to resolve this as much/more than you. One of the biggest wastes of my time are spending lots and lots of time dealing with things which are small to my bigger picture.
Give him a chance, in a friendly way.

I hope I'm a reasonable guy, but it comes down to this. They won't touch it any more as there are not fault codes to justify to accounts, a refund seems out of the question as they dodge the question like the plague, I've started spending time and money on it, which is fine but it has to come to an end at some point. So as it stands for the moment, I'm stuck with it and I try to be as reasonable as possible.. Even to the point of suggesting potential fixes for the car. I took it back three times, all in all I have been to the dealer 5 times from the day I bought it.
I say to them it struggles to start and when it eventually does, it sounds like a bag of spanners got chucked into the engine. There trying to make it that it's normal, I ran a 2.4 JTDM 156 for years with the same engine bar a different turbo and DPF and never had these issues. So as I said there denying accountability for it, as once a massive portion of parts have been replaced it runs fine for 2 days.
It's a niggly issue that get's worse every day.

Could be an immobiliser issue?
Nah the engine rocks on startup, immobiliser never tries to cut the car off. It's definitely an engine component. But take your pick, still left in the road is.. Map sensor, Air intake manifold, swirl flaps, DPF, HP pump etc. etc.
All comes to a lot of cost.. Good thing is it'll be one of them.

This is quite a good link. I don't know if it will help but maybe worth a try.
Check all the hoses around the turbo, look for splits also in all of the hoses.
Chuck some redex in and give it some gas when the bib aren't about.

It's had a full injector clean, 159's have turbo gauge's which show it has no loss of pressure. Also it wouldn't stop it starting up ..This is quite a good link. I don't know if it will help but maybe worth a try.

Appreciate you looking though, thanks.. Common issues are, battery earthing, swirl's, air intake manifolds etc.. Actually there's tons of common faults with them.
I'm trying not to get my hands on it until I know what the plan is.

Take it to a diesel specialist and get a proper diagnosis then give the dealer the option of paying the specialist or doing the repair themselves . Diesel places have kit way beyond normal garages .
As in an Alfa Specialist or just a general diesel car specialist (Any suggestions in Yorkshire)? It's been to a diesel injector / pump specialist.. That's how they concluded all the injectors were duff.gaz1234 said:

Thats an expensive way of dealing with it. speak to solicitor.
return the car.
I'd echo other posters. Take it to a garage for a diagnosis. Explain to the dealer you are doing this before. Find out what exactly is wrong (pressure test etc...) and then go to them with the report. It's a cheaper way of getting a result.
