A couple of weeks ago I had a company round to fit new rears. Their technician, a Polish guy, was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the van was equipped with top notch German equipment. He and took a great deal of care with my wheels but had an unfortunate accident that resulted in a small amount of paint damage to my wheel. I was watching at the time and immediately raised it. We talked it through and both he and I took pictures.
I spoke with a company the next day and they confirmed he had reported it. I sent them the picture I took. I also spoke to Team Dynamics and they gave me a verbal quote for a wheel refurbishment, which I passed onto a company . I phone a company every other day, but essentially I don't seem be getting anywhere.
Does anyone have any similar experience with (a company ) who could offer any suggestions?

I have used (a company) on three occasions and have found them to be very good. However, the third time I used them, they did not send me an invoice/receipt which was odd. I must have attempted to contact them 5 times... they never got back to me!

Good luck!

All - we have a name and shame policy here on PH, and so I've edited the company name out of the text. Feel free to discuss your problem, and good luck getting it solved (I share the pain of a damaged wheel upon tyre changing!) however, please leave the company name out of it. Thanks smile

OP used them so I'm pretty sure that it's possible.

The quality of the work done was excellent and would have no problems having that guy back to do my wheels again. However, I am no further with compensation.

I think it's great that the guy accepted liability, but disappointing it hasn't been resolved.

Have you got anything from the company or or guy stating liability? Small claims court maybe?

Its a relativey small amount of paint damage but on a previously perfect aftermarket alloy.

The Customer Services Manage4r confirmed they would pay for the refurb, and would send me an email confirming this immediately. That was 2 weeks ago, no email, no contact despite repeated chasing. I'm about to write a letter of complaint to the MD, but my advice would be to avoid this visiting tyre company. PM me if you wish to know more details. Cheers
