Where are the 3.2 Coupes?

Just looked at the 3.2 carrera's in the classified and out of 20, 17 are either targas or cabriolets. Is this representative of the relative number of coupe's out there, or are they just not being offered for sale?

Being snapped up by people like me and a few others on here at the mo

I imagine decent ones are being kept by most owners, as better than money in the bank at the mo. The odd one that comes up seems to get snapped up, if in good shape. Then there will be a portion that people are now investing time and money in renovating.

Just my 2p worth.

Yes - and Nick is a master at his job. Running it in now, but already one of the smoothest 911 engines I have ever had (and I have had a few!)

We now have the end in sight for my 89 hot rod with 3.8 monster motor. Very exciting! Nick is brilliant at his craft.

The Targa's/Cabs (although the Targas are starting to get more interest) have always been the poor relations mainly down to their aesthetics, there were less cabs/targa produced than the Coupes and are normally cheaper due to their relatively smaller audience albeit they both did well in the US when launched.
The unbroken lines of the Coupe make it the iconic one to have though and as they get rarer down to age owners who are predominantly enthusiasts are now hanging on to their little nest eggs & rightly so.
You can get a Coupe from around 16kish but despite the advert details they will almost certainly need work bodily wise or will be very leggy with a shabby interior, not show stoppers by any means but serious money to put right and the majority I have looked at have been in this category.
Good unmolested coupes will fetch upwards of early 20's (late G50 examples expect a premium)and will all have had some paint.
I know of one very low mile 88 car which has just changed hands for £50k but this would be a car to put in a collection rather than enjoyed.
