Fuel line disconnect.

I intend to change all the fuel lines soon, does the tank drain when the line is removed or does it have an internal pick-up that goes via the top of the tank?
No the pump is gravity fed so
I found it easier to remove the fuel tank to change the tank to pump hose (12mm i.d IIRC) when I last did one but that car had all the lines changed inc the vents/breathers too
The fuel lines in the engine bay are a right pig to get to. I changed mine when I removed plenum and rockers for painting. Look good now braided steel but chuff me, what a fiddly job.... and I didn't tighten the one to the fuel rail over the compression fitting, and sprayed petrol all over.. " cough"

Had a quick look, doesn't appear to be an easy job, bu**er!
As said already much easier with the plenum removed, the short one is easy the longer one slightly more fiddly this may help http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=114...Gassing Station | Chimaera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
