Just looking at Broadspeed and it got me wondering.. I'm sure I read that when introduced to a dealer they will provide the discount but also honour other discounts available therefore opening up the possibility of further discounts? Does that mean the price given on Broadspeed does or does not reflect a manufacturer deposit contribution promotion?

If that is correct then surely considerable savings can be made or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Example

Mercedes C180 AMG Sport. List price 30,760 standard car, Broadspeed price 25,427. Saving 5,333.

Arnold Clark running a promotion for the same car:
Cash price 31,950. 369 deposit, 369 p/month over 48 months with 5436 mercedes deposit contribution.

So if what I have read on broadspeed is correct, then I could potentially make a saving of 10,769 by taking a discounted car with the mercedes deposit contribution honoured on top? Or am I barking up the wrong tree? This would make sense if the broadspeed discount was a dealer sanctioned discount or more realistically the broad speed price is simply a case of soaking up the mercedes Benz promotion?

It seems too good to be true so I think I can guess the answer but would be handy to know how broad speeds discounts are made up.
