Hi guys, anyone have any experience of costing a new build
I cant get a builder out for another couple of weeks to quote
We have spotted a new build which is basically a watertight shell ( all internal bare walls , windows, roof , concrete 1st floor.
approx. 350sqm

Costs to install UFH, downstairs and upstairs
Screed
Plasterboard, skim all internal walls
Septic tank ( not on the mains )
1st and 2nd fix electrics, plumbing etc
approx. 1/2 acre garden clearing, topsoiled, seeded etc

basically get the house to a builders finish, minus doors, skirting, staircase etc

We know what we have to spend on everything after we get to the stage where it basically needs kitting out with flooring, doors, staircase, kitchens, bathrooms , decorating etc

350sqf total or just ground floor ie 700 sqf total?
Anyway roughly approximately at a guess imho £500 to £600 per 10 sqf as long as you're not looking for anything too fancy.

It will depend where you are, too.

You can't expect anyone to put any type of reasonable price based on the information you have supplied - too many variables.
