Venturi shower mixers

Designed to work with mains pressure cold but gravity fed hot supply. Are they any good and if set up properly and give a decent shower?

I have a new team jet stream . Bought 7 years ago for about £180 and has caused us no problems .
Flow is good , temperature control is counter intuitive - more flow is hotter !
I would recommend if that's the set up you have - you can't run a combi with one so if you think you may change boilers do bear that in mind (according to my plumber , not me )

No plans to change to a combi boiler anytime soon. How do they compare to electric showers and mains pressure showers? Somewhere in between or more towards a mains pressure shower?

Apologies for delay ! Much more akin to a mixer linked to a good combi than an electric . Important to get your stored hot the right temperature.
I'd have another if we moved and had the same heating set up .
