Should make for an interesting and exciting car, very lively in fact as the Crossfire is noticeably smaller than the C5. I'm not entirely happy with the rear of the Crossfire but as a whole I like it better than the C6. Oh-oh, potential allegiance swap !

Until it has a V8, it would never make any list of mine although I like the styling. I can't gt away from the fact that underneath it's a Mercedes. Perhaps when AMG get hold of one....

The title of the story is very misleading. I don't think it has much to do with the Crossfire other than similar styling.

The new model ('firepower') is to use the chassis from the Viper but with the V8 'Hemi' engine from the new 300C. I would guess that its aimed directly at the Corvette.

It looked to me more that the Firepower ought to be aimed at the Cadillac XLR, rather than the 'vette - leaving the Viper to do that job...
