Can someone let me know which dash lights come on with the ignition on (but engine off)?

At the moment the ice warning light flashing on but I don't have the oil warning light or alternator/MIL light. As the alternator warning light (MIL?) shares some wiring with the speedo I'm beginning to suspect this is the source of my speedo problems!

Hmmm, looking at the owners manual I don't mean the MIL light (which I've just realised isn't in the speedo gauge). What are the two lights/LEDs within the speedo gauge?

Can you tell I've not driven this car in a while!

Over-rev and Oil pressure - from memory....

From memory ('cos I sold my Cerb some time ago) the Mil light is in the bottom middle of the rev counter and is also the change up light (comes on at 7500 revs). The two in the bottom of the speedo are the oil pressure warning light and the battery charge light, both of which should light with the ignition before you hit the starter button. The Mil light should only be seen in the event of a malfunction or a need to pull another gear!!

The ice warning light apparently flashes through all it's spectrum on some cars - mine was one of them, on start up.

Alternator/battery, oil pressure and mil lights on constant until started, ice warning light flashes once.

Well I just tried mine, ignition on brings just the battery light up, then when i hit the blipper to arm the system the Mil light comes on, maybe my oil pressure light has gone pop.

Thanks guys. Got the alternator and water temp lights back, as is the MIL light. Just a case of slightly dodgy connections with the bulb holders!

Alas, still no speedo.

Have you tried adjusting the gap on the sender and is the toothed gear clean.
I know they are very sensitive and need to be really close like a couple of sheets of paper close.

Yup. I fitted a new sender yesterday, I basically screwed in the sender until it touched the toothed wheel, then backed it off maybe 1/4 of a turn. Turned the wheels to make sure there was no contact, but still no joy.

No Mil light is probably the pico fuse on the board although it could be the bulb. Either way you need to take the pod off for a look.
